Expert Talk with Gia Jandieri: Georgia: Liberalization, DCFTA and EU-Regulation

Der Expert Talk mit Gia Jandieri von der New Economic School Georgia bietet die Möglichkeit in kleiner, informeller Runde über die Marktreformen, der EU-Aussenpolitik gegenüber Georgiens und den Land selbst zu sprechen. 

In the informal setting of the Expert Talk, Georgian economist Gia Jandieri will provide an insight on the effects of the liberalization on the Georgian economy and the chances and risks of the EU-Georgia “Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area” (DCFTA).

After a short introduction, the expert talk will take place over dinner.

About the Speaker

Gia Jandieri, a Georgian economist, graduated from Georgian Polytechnic University and Tbilisi State University. Heworked for the Central Election Commission, the State Audit Office, the Georgian Parliament, and the Open Society Foundation. Mr. Jandieri is a founder and the Vice-president of New Economic School - Georgia, a ten years old think-tank, and serves as a member of Board of Trustees of the Office of National Statistics. His main field of research and educational activities are the theories of Public Choice.
